Mark & Cath took over the pub in November 2024

Both of us have a vision of how a country pub should be. A blend of fabulous home cooked food, great ales, superior wines and an all around great atmosphere.

The Elletsons has become well known for it's home cooked pub classics, such as our steak & ale and cheese & onion pies. Nothing we make comes in frozen, this is something not many pubs can claim and we are proud of this.  We use all local suppliers for our food:

Mark prides himself on his ales. Being a Free House  means we are fortunate to be able to source the greatest beers from local breweries. More than 75% of our real ales come within a 30 mile radius, from breweries such as:

As well as old favourites from Timothy Taylor & Hobgoblin.

On top of the ales we have a great selection of lagers & ciders from the likes of:

Our wines are equally exclusive, we have a fabulous range or white, red  & rose plus stunning prosecco & champagne choices.

As well as our dining experience, we are able to offer live sports via SKY, with football, F1, Boxing and Rugby all being shown daily. 

Regular entertainment and quizzes are also on hand with

Karaoke a firm favourite every other Friday, 

Poker every Wednesday

Party Nights Monthly &

Live Music periodically.
